Wondering if we host brides, photos or events in the garden?

For photo sessions, you must call ahead to check our availability even on open days, in the u-pick garden. 

The cost is $50 on open u-pick days (Friday-Monday), or $60 on our "off days" (Tuesday- Thursday) and either option will include two buckets of blooms, to be picked while you are here taking photos. Everyone goes home with flowers, and we can put money in the piggy bank and grow the “backdrop” again next season! 

We request that you give us your date, no more than 30 days prior to the time desired and we will double check availability to confirm we don’t have too many photos sessions or other large events going on at the same time.  

 If you are coming on an open u-pick day, this choice is perfect if you’re planning a super quick, small session with one single household family or individual. Because it is our OPEN days it may mean there’s other photographers and other you pick guests at the same time, so it’s not a “private” experience. Open days are typically Friday through Monday.  

For a semi-private photo shoot time in the garden, consider our OFF days. It is an investment of $60 and still includes two buckets of flowers. There won’t be as many other people just randomly walking into the garden to come pick flowers. However, we may schedule more than one group/photographer at once. But it’s a good size space, and people usually find ways to work in different areas and move around to take turns. For this option, it is typically for the photographer to spend an hour or less in the garden, still just here with one single party.

We do NOT allow this pricing option for large groups, photographers with back-to-back clients or multifamily plans for mini sessions. It’s meant to just be a kind of casual taking pictures while you’re picking flowers sort of photo shoot. For larger groups please see our event pricing. 

 Also, no nudity or boudoir shoots at any time. All images need to be family friendly. No pets are allowed in the garden.

How fun would be to reserve the garden for your own special night?! Could be either for photography clients or if you would like to hold a casual, informal gathering and u-pick too.

"Events" as listed on our chart below, can refer to longer photography sessions with extended families, back-to-back clients via mini session type set up. Typically, scheduled on our off days for a more private experience. 

Do you want to bring a group of friends (no photos necessary) and spend more time in the garden than the just u-pick. Think book club, maybe a fun sweet 16, or grandmas' birthday, a small baby shower, mom's night out, girl snack dinner in the blooms. We can make that happen!

Events may be planned and scheduled 30 days in advance. 

However, our farm is not set up for large gatherings (think over 50 guests) or formal events. We only provide an outhouse and cold-water sink. Depending on the event plans, you may need to have additional insurance and permitting.
